TYPES OF MALWARE
Malware:
These are viruses, spyware, Trojans, in short, all kinds of
little programs designed to harm you, or monitor you, track you down, and which
are better to hunt down and destroy.
Here we are going to discuss different types of malware:
Spyware:
Spyware is a program or subroutine designed to collect
personal data about its users and send it to its designer, or to a third party
via the Internet or any other network. IT, without having previously obtained
explicit and informed authorization from said users.
Software like Ad-Aware and Spybot and best antivirus software can
remove them.

Viruses:
A virus is a piece of malicious computer program that is
designed and written to reproduce itself. This ability to replicate can affect
your computer without your permission and without your knowing it. In more
technical terms, the classic virus will attach itself to one of your executable
programs and will automatically copy itself to any other executable you launch.
An antivirus
will be able to defend you against this malware.
Worms:
A worm (or worm) is a special type of virus. Concretely, these
are programs capable of replicating themselves through the terminals connected
to a network, then of executing certain actions that may undermine the integrity
of the operating systems.
Trojans:
A Trojan horse (or trojan) is a program which, when inserted
into a sequence of normal instructions, takes on the appearance of a valid
program. But it actually contains a hidden illicit function, thanks to which
the security mechanisms of the computer system are bypassed, which allows files
to be broken into to view, modify or destroy them. Unlike a worm, the Trojan
horse does not replicate: it can remain harmless, inside a game or a utility,
until the scheduled date of its entry into action.
Keyloggers:
A keylogger is software that records keystrokes to steal, for
example, a password.
The
dialers:
Dialers are programs that dial a number to connect your
computer to the Internet. It can be safe and legitimate if it is from your
service provider, for example. However, some dialers are malicious and can
sometimes install themselves on your machine without your knowledge and dial a
very expensive number.
To guard against this risk, always pay attention to the
software you download and make sure you download it from a site you trust such
as the official site of the software in question.

adapted according to your country of residence).
Rootkits:
A rootkit is a "kit" to become "root"(administrator)
of a machine. This is a really complex malicious code that is grafted onto a
machine, and sometimes the very kernel of the operating system. It is thus able
to take full control of a PC without leaving. Its detection is difficult,
sometimes even impossible while the system is running. In other words, it is a
series of programs that allow the hacker to install himself on a machine
(already infected or exploiting a security vulnerability) and to 'prevent its
detection. Once in place, the rootkit is truly the master of the system. As
such all programs, including anti-virus and anti-spyware, must go through it
before doing anything. They cannot therefore rely on any information collected
on the system. The growth of rootkits is favored by the fact that the majority
of Windows operating system users work under administrator rights, which
greatly facilitates the installation of rootkit in computers.
